Cyclops delivers software to manufacturers of cars, navigation equipment suppliers and mobile phone operators that provides information on speed limits, accident black spots and speed camera locations for many countries in Europe, Australia and the USA.

The software uses GPS technology to compare the actual position to an on-board database holding details of speed cameras throughout the UK. When a motorist approaches one of these locations the unit compares the speed of the vehicle to the local speed limit and delivers clear audiovisual alerts accordingly. As the alert is provided some 800m in advance of the location, suitable action can be taken by motorists to correct their speed. As the purpose of speed cameras is to reduce speed at dangerous locations, road safety organizations welcome and approve of the Cyclops product in promoting safe driving.
