The Company and Our Investment
In October 2009, Octopus invested £2 million into Monkey Bizness to strengthen the business' balance sheet and to finance additional new sites across the UK. This was the second investment from the £30 million Octopus Capital for Enterprise Fund.
Monkey Bizness is the largest provider of indoor family entertainment centres in the UK. Each centre includes a children's soft play area and is designed to provide a safe, clean and fun environment in which parents and children can feel comfortable. Monkey Bizness' centres provide a setting that encourages children to express themselves through creativity and play as well as providing fresh and nutritious food to keep kids happy and healthy.
Monkey Bizness currently has centres in eight locations: Lewes, Gosport, Poole, Sheffield, Stevenage, Hull Edinburgh and Glasgow.
