In December 2007 Octopus completed a buy-out of the UK's leading broadcast design and promotions agency, Bruce Dunlop and Associates, valuing the group at £15 million. Octopus invested £5 million to support the transaction. The new company is called BDA International (BDA).
BDA is a creative agency that provides a range of promotion and design services to broadcasters and corporate clients worldwide. It offers a full service solution for their clients, producing high quality creative work in the field of TV channel branding, broadcast design, commercials, sponsorship promotions and corporate communications.
Since its launch almost nine years ago, the agency has grown from a team of three to become a strong international corporation operating in London, Munich and Singapore. Most elements of BDA's campaigns are worked on in-house. Their design and creative teams work directly alongside clients ensuring the development of a close working relationship to maximise understanding, communication and results.
